To the Wanderers,
There had been times in the past where I was made to feel as if I was wasting my existence on this earth. There were times when people would try to make me feel ashamed or embarrassed of the interests I hold. But these people have been conditioned by the times we live in. They are creatures of things to come, creatures who strive to be a part of what is coming, creatures who will embrace anything if it is judged right to do so by the ordained few. There are also creatures of the past, who are only interested in preserving or returning to a former age; never moving on or changing. Lost in the ways of old, blinkered and stubborn. I feel I am neither of these, but I am a creature of the present. The more I have understood about the universe the more I have considered myself to be of this. I understand the importance and rewards of change. Yet I heed to the paths walked before me. I care deeply for the earth, not because of heritage or tradition but because of it’s importance, because of it’s uniqueness. I am untouched to the calls of hollow wealths that dominate our modern age. There are far greater wealths to be found on this Earth, but the greatest riches of all these must be earned. Love, honour & knowledge, accompanied with a wisdom that can only be uncovered through the trials of attaining such feats. These are what I strive for, this is my religion. My body the holy ground and my blood it’s people. My mind the book and disciple in one.
So to you wanderers, shunned by the others because of the rigid set of bones in your back. To you; those who do not need to stoop and scurry about the current. To you who safely cross these waters to the other side, be it through strength of self or the intellect of a vessel. I call to you wanderers. And although I will not be the first to light the beacon, I pray I will not be the last.
